Research

Focus of faculty research: Negotiating energy dynamics through embodied action in a materially structured environment; developing body engagement activities that will assist the student in accessing mathematical ideas used in physics; working in nanoscale materials, particularly on questions relating to group III-nitride and II-VI semiconductors, diamond, device self-heating, and thermal properties; semiconductor fabrication, and performance optimization of wide bandgap materials for solid-state device applications.
