Focus of faculty research: Development of nanoparticles for noninvasive delivery of therapeutic agents; clinical implications in anti-infective resistance; using stochastic modeling to determine appropriate antibiotic selection, infectious diseases surveillance and epidemiology; impaired healing in individuals with diabetes; assessment of pharmaceutical needs in rural settings in the midst of the changing health care environment
