Program Offerings

Brandeis IBS offers three master's degrees in addition to the MBA – and all four prepare students to become World Ready in analytics, business, economics and finance. Students master global fluency, which provides a firm grasp of cultural nuances; recognition of the interplay of economic, political and social forces; an understanding of the dynamics of cross-border commerce and access to opportunity in volatility across global markets.

The school offers accelerated degree options, including an Accelerated MA program to students are scheduled to complete (or have completed) a bachelor’s degree in business or economics at a U.S. college or university. This program provides candidates with the opportunity to earn a master’s degree in just one year of study. Brandeis IBS also offers a one-year Accelerated MBA designed for students with substantial work or managerial experience and relevant transfer coursework.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

This innovative one- or two-year degree lets students choose from five optional concentrations (Finance, Data Analytics, Marketing, Real Estate, and Strategy and Innovation).

Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA)

The new Master of Science in Business Analytics program combines data analytics and related programming courses with training in finance, marketing and business dynamics.

Master of Arts in International Economics and Finance (MA)

The unique two-year MA program offers concentrations in Applied Economic Analysis, Data Analytics, Financial Economics, Marketing and Real Estate Finance. Students currently completing or who have completed a degree in economics or business at a U.S. institution may qualify for admission to the Accelerated MA program, which lets students complete the MA in just one year of post-BA study.

Master of Science in Finance (MSF) Students gain expertise in fintech, risk management, transfer pricing and valuation, asset management and corporate finance in this 16-month program.

Academic Excellence

Brandeis IBS has a worldwide reputation for academic excellence. Its Master of Arts in International Economics and Finance (MA) is ranked third in the U.S. among pre-experience programs by the Financial Times. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is on the Princeton Review's list of top business schools in the world and has been for 11 years in a row, and the Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program is ranked fifth in the country by the TFE Times (formerly The Financial Engineer). Students learn from an international faculty of respected scholars and seasoned practitioners and study alongside students from over 40 countries. Students gain real-world experience through internships and consulting projects and graduate with a practical skillset and global perspective.

Global and Practical

Students may study abroad at one of 19 partner universities or participate in a global immersion trip, industry trek or internship. Through its various STEM designations, international students can extend a 12-month practical training experience by an additional 24 months after graduating from most Brandeis IBS programs. Through the school’s Bloomberg Lab, students utilize the world-renowned financial, regulatory and market database that's used by virtually all major financial firms and organizations around the globe. They benefit from personalized career counseling and support during job and internship searches, which leads to excellent career outcomes.
